Driven by innovation, at Airush Kiteboarding our aim is to deliver high-performance products to our customers while ensuring that all of our products are durable and sustainable. By utilizing more sustainable materials, we both increase the durability of our products, while decreasing our impact on the environment.
Airush convertible boards are boards that can “shapeshift” to suit a variety of riding styles. Some of these boards have inserts for a foil but also inserts for surf fins if it needs to be used as a surfboard one day and a foilboard the next. Some can even go finless and can be used as a wakeskate/skimboard.
Within our current convertible kiteboard range we have 3 different boards. The mini monster convert, the foil skate and the slayer.
The Foil Skate
The Foil Skate looks similar to the Slayer, however there are some key differences such as the way they are constructed. Although both are bombproof, the Slayer is made in a twintip style construction meaning it uses the same material layup that we use in our twintip kiteboards, versus the foil skate which uses a Paulownia wood core, but a different lamination construction.
The Foil Skate is more of a minimalist crossover low volume foil board. Ideal with fins when riding without a foil.
