Hailing from Preá, a small fishing village on Brazil’s northeast coast, Josué grew up in one of the world’s most iconic wind destinations. Introduced to kiteboarding at a young age by his father, he developed his skills in strong, consistent conditions that shaped his fearless approach and natural board control.
Now one of the most exciting young athletes in Big Air kiteboarding, Baby Shark has quickly risen onto the international stage. Known for his explosive height, technical precision, and ability to perform under pressure, he’s already made his mark competing in events like the Red Bull King of the Air and the GKA World Tour.
What sets Josué apart is not just his riding, but his mindset. Driven, humble, and relentlessly focused on progression, he represents a new generation pushing the limits of what’s possible in the sport. Whether it’s sending massive loops or refining technical combinations, his style blends power with precision in a way that’s impossible to ignore.
