Airush Frame technology reinforces the perimeter of the kite through a full framework of heavier duty cloth, dispersing load at critical connection points and damage-prone areas, such as the trailing edge and leading edge. This works in conjunction with the Gradient load wingtips and the innovative Airush load frame to ensure maximum durability, without increasing weight.
By studying the direction of loading on the typical kite, we have aligned the load frame to disperse force directly from the center of effort to the wingtips, increasing both durability and response. This alignment considers the movement of the canopy under high impact, supporting the struts and the largest areas of open cloth.
Airush’s next generation Dyneema Load Frame significantly reduces load on the kite canopy. Strength-to-weight ratios for Dyneema are about 40% higher than for Aramid.
